Albert is taking a comfortable lead after this round. 9 points, but still lots of matches to go. Klaus wins this round with fantastic 29 points. Perhaps a bit too late this year to repeat his 2007/2008 victory.

Hi Sam,
I noticed ou Glorious Leader has defined Barcelona as Finalist ánd as quarter-finalist. Does he get now twice 2 pts. for having 2 quarterfinalists right? Or only once?
If this is allowed it is interesting to know for next year, I could define 8 times Barcelona or ManUtd. It seems pretty obvious that those teams will reach quarters, and so I will get 8x2=16 pts. :)

Our Glorious Leader? I thought you were talking about Fidel Castro.

But I see what you mean, and I say thank you for spotting that. I did not notice, and it is a problem indeed. In the rules two years ago, we had an explicit sentence for that situation, and I have no idea why I removed it this year. But the previously stated rule will apply: points are awarded only once! It is like the quarter-final Barcelona entry does not exist.

Unfortunately it is not calculated that way. I will make a corretion before the next round.

I made the correction now. Albert has two points less. Still a solid lead.

Thanks again, Ricardo, for supervising me, and sorry for that confusion.

Hi Sam,
Thanks for the answer, it was not to harm Albert, though I think he is so far in the lead that he can't be bothered about 2 points. It was to make it clear and I spotted a nice tactic for next year :). Unfortunatley you say now that it is not to be like that.

I actulay think this is the most exciting part of the game, as you have to think in September who will be around ánd playing well now. Inter eliminating Chelsea was not good for me :-(

Thanks for organising this!
